At The Dordéan Suites of Chester, our mission has always been rooted in connection, inclusion and belonging. Every detail of our space, from the heartfelt touches in each suite to the opportunities we create for individuals of all abilities, is designed to make people feel at home.
We were honoured to take part in Belong, an initiative led by Tourism HR Canada and funded by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC). The Belong Project highlights inclusive employment and accessible hospitality across the country. Through this project, our story and Mackenzie's story were shared as an example of how tourism spaces can celebrate diversity and create meaningful opportunities for everyone.
We are deeply grateful to have been part of a national effort that aligns so closely with who we are and what we believe: that everyone deserves to feel they belong. Thank you to Tourism HR Canada and the Government of Canada for making this project possible, for raising awareness and for championing opportunities for all.

Tiny Homes with Big Purpose
We recognize that, sometimes, opportunities are what you create. In conjunction with hosting lovely guests from all over in our tiny house suites, our goal is to also provide vocational training and other opportunities for adults with disabilities in a safe, community-based setting. Through this, individuals with communication, learning and social challenges will be able to develop employment and other important skills while increasing their self-confidence and independence all while making meaningful contributions to the community.
Booking at Dordéan Suites allows guests to be part of something that is bigger than just themselves, it’s about supporting a broader community and truly making a positive difference in someone’s life. These tiny homes are full of big dreams and big hearts.
